Why a tournament at Prince
The whole tournament in one place.
The five clay courts sit side by side in the same block, so a whole round is played at once and everything can be followed from one spot. The five-a-side cage is right by the clubhouse, with changing rooms and showers under the same roof.
Every court is floodlit, so the final doesn’t depend on the sunset. The covered terrace of Caffe Prince looks straight onto the courts: spectators follow the matches from the shade, and the awards happen at the table, with a kitchen that’s open all day.

Teams of 5+1 to 7+1, groups then knockouts — all in one day. The cage is netted on every side and overhead, so the ball stays in play and the schedule stays on time.

Who can play in the club tournaments?
Any recreational player. We group players by level, so a beginner doesn’t meet a seasoned competitor in the first round.
Do I need a partner for the doubles tournament?
Not necessarily. Sign up on your own and we’ll try to pair you with a player of a similar level.
What if it rains?
Clay courts need time to dry after heavy rain, so matches are postponed. We let everyone who signed up know the new date.
How many teams can enter a football tournament?
There is one cage, so for a one-day tournament we recommend up to eight teams — that way the group stage, semi-finals and final fit into a single day.
Can we hold a tournament just for our company?
Yes. We set up a corporate tournament around your team’s level, with lunch or dinner on the terrace — see the Events page too.
How much does it cost to organise a tournament?
It depends on the number of courts, the duration and the food. After your enquiry we send a proposal with a price the same day.
