Events at Prince
A celebration overlooking the clay.
Caffe Prince is the club’s caffe bar, with a covered terrace facing the courts. For your event that means a space with a view, a kitchen that’s open all day and the option of taking part of the programme onto the court — a match, a tournament or a game before dinner.
We don’t sell ready-made packages: every event is put together around the number of guests, the time of day and the occasion — from cake and juice for a kids’ birthday to dinner for the team after a tournament.

Kids’ birthdays
An hour of play in the five-a-side cage or on a tennis court, then cake and juice on the terrace. Parents wait at a table with a view of the game.

For smaller groups after some quiet: the Bela Billiard & Cigar Club, a club room with billiards, separate from the caffe bar. A good follow-on to a business dinner or a birthday.

An enquiry commits you to nothing. Once the space and the menu are agreed, the date is reserved for you.

The space and courts are reserved for your date; you confirm the menu and headcount a few days before.

Good to know.
For a small group, an ordinary table is often enough — booked online, with no upfront payment.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as possible, especially for weekends in season. Smaller gatherings can often be arranged within a week — send an enquiry and we’ll tell you straight away what’s free.
How many guests can come?
It depends on the space and the layout — a seated lunch needs more room than a standing reception. Tell us the number of guests and we’ll suggest a layout that works.
Can part of the programme be on court?
Yes. We reserve tennis courts or the cage for your slot, and for larger groups we can set up a small tournament — see the Tournaments page.
Can I bring my own cake or decorations?
We agree on that when confirming the event — tell us what you have in mind and we’ll coordinate it with the kitchen and the space.
Do you cater outside the club?
Our catering is mainly for events at the club. For other locations, send us the details and we’ll tell you whether it’s feasible.
Is there parking?
Yes — the car park is by the clubhouse entrance, so guests don’t have to hunt for a spot on the street.
